Intersolar - Solar Power Exhibitions
Intersolar - New Munich Trade Center, Germany
Considered to be one of the largest solar power shows, Intersolar aims to educate people about the booming solar energy sector. This event is normally held in June at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre and more than 1500 companies belonging to the solar power industry are expected to attend the event and exhibit their products and services. This year, the organisers of the exhibition are expecting the highest turnout of exhibitors and visitors to date, for this key event.
Intersolar Munich was first held in Europe in 1991and has been considered an international technological event of vital importance ever since its inception. Focusing on environmental issues and modern innovations in the field of solar power, the exhibition is always a melting pot for ideas and innovations. While 2009 saw a visitor inflow of
almost 60,000 visitors, organisers expect 2010 push ever closer to the 100,000 figure, with green energy events continuing to increase in popularity despite the present economic hard times.
‘Intersolar’ these days is regarded as the biggest solar power exhibition in the world and this is visible by the truly international and global representation of companies from around the world. The continuing increase in the solar power sector and an interest in areas such as solar thermal energy and photovoltaic power, is reflected in the InterSolar and the types of exhibitors who attend. From new trends to new findings in terms of solar products and services, Intersolar 2010 will feature the entire scope of solar power activity and research.
Intersolar 2010 can be easily accessed by air, train as well as car and public transport. Once at the Munich International Airport, visitors can get to the venue availing rental car services or even public transport options like the subway.
