SolarCon is an international exhibition that is held at the COEX Exhibition Center in Seoul, Korea on an annual basis. Korea is an ideal venue for an exhibition that focuses on solar energy as the country is one of the world leaders in PV (photovoltaic) technology. The 2011 edition of the event aims to improve the country’s solar industry by creating business opportunities for exhibitors and attendees.
The event will take place in September and will go on for three days beginning on the 21st of the month and continuing on till the 23rd. Scheduled to take place in Hall C of the COEX centre, SolarCon will open its doors to
visitors at 10am daily and end at five pm in the evening. International visitors will be able to find plenty of hotels close to the venue, many of which will have special packages for SolarCon attendees. Sponsored by Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International or SEMI, this event functions as a platform for manufacturers, distributors and service providers in the solar power industry to promote their latest innovations, products and service offerings.
The event is attended by several photovoltaic companies from all over Korea, Asia and the globe and works to promote the photovoltaic industry in the region. It attracts PV manufactures, PV suppliers, PV equipment producers and solar technology developers who showcase solar cells, PV systems and introduce new installation procedures at the event.
