Guide to SOLAREXPO

SolarExpo is an international exhibition that focuses on solar energy and solar technology. This event is held annually in Italy and attracts visitors and industry professionals from all over the world interested in promoting green technology and sustainable energy. SolarExpo is organised on an annual basis by the Fiera di Vicenza and the 2011 edition of this 3 Day event will be held at the Verona Fiere starts on the 4th of May, 2011 and ending on the 6th. The SolarExpo 2011 is expected to play an important role in developing the region’s market for solar technology and setting about new trends to help in reducing greenhouse gases.

Past events of the SolarExpo have helped to develop Italy’s green economy and the 2011 event in particular will focus on sustainable energy and green technology sectors.

The SolarExpo 2011 will be held alongside other events like summits, conferences, seminars and workshops in an effort to educate visitors on the various obstacles facing the industry SolarExpo 2011while highlighting future trends and innovations in solar technology. Although, the event’s main focus will be on solar energy, attendees can also expect to see programs based on bio-fuels, wind energy, geothermal energy and green living.

The event is well attended by exhibitors from the photovoltaic, solar energy, bio-fuel, microgen and polygen, carbon trading and ecomove sectors. The SolarExpo 2011 will also cover Energy for development and green jobs and is expected to attract more than 75,000 visitors, of which more than 35% will be international visitors.
