Guide to Solar Energy solutions
Solar energy is revolutionising the world’s energy industry, and organisations, companies and families are opting to go green and use solar energy instead of nuclear energy. In recent years, the quest for renewable energy has led to various scientific breakthroughs being made in the field of solar technology solutions.
Scientists have developed a number of solar energy solutions to help to harness the almost limitless amount of solar energy and convert it into electricity. One of these solutions includes photovoltaic cells which converts 
sunlight into solar energy and then into electrical energy.
These cells are designed to have a positive and a negative layer like any regular cell, and when the sunlight falls on these cells, it dislodges electrons and produces electricity which then flows through the connecting wires to provide the electricity required to power various gadgets. Depending on the number of solar cells in a panel andthe requirements, it is possible to generate enough electricity from solar panels to power virtually anything that requires electricity.
Apart from using photovoltaic cells, there are a number of other solar energy solutions that are available in today’s world. These solutions help to provide thermal (heating) facilities for cooking, heating water and even provide heating for buildings. Another use of solar energy is for desalination, where sea water is changed into potable water through a process called solar humidification.
